WoW: What To Expect in 4.0.3a

What To Expect in 4.0.3a

As Kody was kind enough to point out on Curse, a user named Samwew has put together a handy list of everything that is and isn’t coming up in the 4.0.3a “Shattering” patch (supposedly on live servers next week

).

Zarhym was kind enough to pop in and point out a few things that Samwew missed, as well—most interestingly, the fact that experience to level from 71-80 is being reduced by 20%. This is in keeping with previous expansions, but still good to know that it’s coming. I’ve reproduced the important parts of the list here:

What’s in 4.0.3a
  • Portals in Dalaran Removed
  • Class trainers in Dalaran where portals once were
  • New race-class combinations (excluding worgen/goblin)
  • New Gnome/Troll starting areas
  • Changes to existing zones
  • New load screens
  • New music
  • Invasion event (Still bugged in IF, NOT complete-able in SW)
  • City Quartermasters, with rep tabards (Gilneas is not working)

Whats not in 4.0.3a

  • Creating worgen/goblin characters
  • Worgen/Goblin start zone
  • Archaeology
  • Professions past 450 (Illustrious Grand Master)
  • Guild leveling
  • Guild achievements
  • Easter Kingdoms/Kalimdor flight
  • New Zones (80+)
